PASTEL DE LUNA – PICTURE BOOKS FROM THE FAR EAST (and more)
We are glad to represent Pastel de Luna, an independent Spanish publisher specialised in picture books from Far East but not only.
Recently they start their own collection with the purpose of making children travel with imagination.
Pastel de Luna takes its name from the mooncake, a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The festival is for lunar appreciation and moon watching, when mooncakes are regarded as an indispensable delicacy. Mooncakes are offered between friends or on family gatherings while celebrating the festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the four most important Chinese festivals.
